A glass door allows visitors to peer inside Poe’s room which is furnished as a student room would have been in the early 19th century. Visitors can press a button to hear a recording about Poe’s time at UVA. The Raven Society has provided furniture for the room, although not directly connected to Poe, it is authentic to the period he would have resided there.
