Alderman Hall Library which has played a pivotal role in the academic life of students at the University since 1938, will re-open in late 2023 after undergoing a 100,000-square-foot restoration and a 130,000-square-foot expansion. The improvements will transform the library into a modern facility equipped with advanced technology, learning spaces, collaboration areas, media rooms, a café, and room to accommodate up to one million books, with room for expansion.
